A peaceful winter mood capturing the cool light, the stillness of the landscape and soft transitions that is so beautiful this time of the year. A brief moment of pale winter light that colours the land in subtle tones and changes the mood in phenomenal ways. I’m drawn to untouched nature, often using abstract landscapes to express moods and emotions, it is not site specific landscapes but more the essence of an experience expressed via a landscape. I live and work at the West coast of Norway and there is often traces of these inspiring landscapes surrounding me in my artwork. This is a pastell drawing on cotton paper, it needs the protection of glass. It ships flat packed in a box.
